Commercial Office

Additionally, the BSBS frame allows for the unobstructed continuous band of clerestory windows just below the roof line due to not needing any X bracing nor floor to roof shear panels. Rock Reach House

GHESKIO Center

Location: Port au Prince, Haiti Architect: Tonetti Associate Architects (now Starboard Architects) http://www.starboardarch.com/ Notes: Nutrition and Family Health Center. 22,000 square feet built rapidly after the devastating 2010 earthquake that combines nutrition, OB-GYN, pediatrics, adolescent and family planning departments within a single robust complex.

Notes:  Stylish guest house erected by the local general contractor that had no previous experience with the Blue Sky system. Approximately 1,130 square feet with two bedrooms and two baths.


Graham Residence

Notes:  Floats over very rugged terrain with almost no damaging site work required.  Two bedrooms, one bath in about 1,125 square feet. 


Carmel Valley Residence

Gilbert-Troost Residence

Notes: This project sits on a flat lot and exudes a distinctive Palm Springs vibe. Three bedrooms, two baths in about 1,700 square feet. 


Goddard Residence

Location: Santa Monica, California

Notes:  Large addition to a small house on a sloping lot.   Addition includes kitchen, dining room, living room, outdoor deck and garage. 


Ohm Residence

Location: Clear Lake, California

Notes:  The architects created the famed itHouse, built with an aluminum frame system.  In this instance, where there was some topography to the lot, we provide a moment frame platform upon which they built an itHouse.  Call it a hybrid house!

Notes:  Three-story addition to a one-story cottage in the community’s walk street district. 


Joshua Tree Rental

Location:  Joshua Tree, California

Notes:  Designed as four-home development adjacent to Joshua Tree National Park that would provide top modernist architecture to the vacation rental home market (which is badly underserved in Joshua Tree).  Each home has two master suites on either side of generous great room.

Notes:  Spectacular home overlooking the wide blue Pacific Ocean and harbor near the wettest spot on the planet with nearly 400" of rain per year.
